Founded in 1973, Healthcare Leaders Association of Texas is a statewide premier association for professional administrators and leaders of medical group practices in the state of Texas. The organization is comprised of approximately 500 members who work in a variety of practice settings - rural and urban, from practices with one physician to over one hundred.

HLA Texas is strongly committed to fulfilling its mission of:

• Fostering the professional development of its members through education and networking opportunities.
• Enhancing the image of medical group practice leaders in the effective delivery of healthcare services.
• Representing the interest of our membership in policy-making activities through advocacy at the state level.
